Week One of Training - Going Well!


Today I woke up and did my 5k or 3.11 mile run. It felt good. Not a lot of joggers were out this morning. I think because it rained last night.

I was hoping to have increased my speed but when I got home I was simply on par with what I had previously been running. I am going to try and pick it up a bit.

Tonight I am going to get new running shoes hopefully. Mine are pretty much done. I am actually looking forward to getting a new pair of shoes.

I won't be able to fit in my interval workout today as planned. It's one from the ChaLEAN Extreme workouts. I have a meeting right after work and will not be home until late. I might have time to fit this in at another point this week. We'll see what happens.

I have two more runs to get in this week for my race training and at least 3 more ChaLEAN workouts. I have spaced out enough time to do them all!
I have also decided to try and fit in crunches before bed every night. Tonight will be the first night. I will keep you posted on how I do.
