Call me CRAZY!!!

Call me crazy but I just signed up for a 10km race!!!

I felt so good about myself for reaching my goal time in my 8km race that I felt I could handle a 10km race. The race isn't until Oct. 3, 2009 and it's in my town so I don't have to drive anywhere. That's a plus.


I found a 12 week training program that I am going to follow starting Sunday. It's perfect too because 12 weeks will take me to race day and give me a few days off when I am on holidays in August. Very nice!


I am typing out my running schedule in a calender right now and am going to print it off so I have it on the wall of my laundry room. This is where all my workout stuff is (I have a big laundry room) so I will be able to check it off daily. I am going to map out some new running routes today as well and get prepared for next week.


Next week is also the start of the Lean Phase in ChaLEAN Extreme. I am very much looking forward to it.


This morning I only did the stationary bike. I say 'only' because I was all set to do Tae bo but my dvd kept skipping. I need to clean the dvd I am guessing. But because I was short on time I simply jumped on my stationary bike and went for it. Only had time for a 30 minute workout this morning.


I am hoping to fit in a bit more tonight but I might not have the time so I am happy I at least got in a bit of cardio.


So it's Training time for me!!!
