I had a great weekend of working out. It started Friday when I got home from work. I went to the clubhouse by my house and ran intervals on the treadmill. My training schedule calls for 3 miles of intervals. This took me just over 30 minutes to run 3 miles of intervals. Let me tell you my legs were feeling it. But I felt good. So I ran for an additional ten minutes at an easy pace followed by a five minute cool down.I felt great when I got home from this run. Saturday morning I woke up and did a 5 mile easy run. My legs were actually sore and I was worried that I might have to just do 3 miles and do the 5 mile run on Sunday. But by the time I finished 3 miles I had loosened my leg muscles and I felt good. It was a beautiful morning to fit in a jog.
Sunday morning I did an easy 3 mile run. It was really funny because at 8am on a Sunday the path and streets in my neighborhood were full of people walking their dogs! I couldn't believe how many people were out walking. Made me want a dog. hahaha
I did want to get a new scale on Sunday...but oh goodness....I went to the store and stepped on all 7 different scales and got a different weight on every single one!!! Ranging from 120lbs to almost 180lbs!!! I decided to stick with my current scale at home.
Sunday evening I went for a very big walk with my neighbor. It felt so good to just go for a nice walk and catch up. And I think this helped me sleep. For the first time since I can remember, I actually slept on a Sunday night! Normally I toss and turn in anticipation of work. lol So that was a huge plus.
I got up and did my Lean Circuit 1...forgot that I had wanted to add in the 8 minute tae bo! hahaha Wednesday I will. But no worries because I will be doing some Tae Bo after work today.
And the funny thing...my body isn't sore at all!!! Great weekend!

Good job! I'm going to start my training this week for my half-marathon. I just got back from vacation. I tried to do Lean Circuit 1 this morning. It was a complete joke. Taking a week off was a big mistake! It's good to hear your not sore!
