The Abs Are Screaming!

Yesterday when I got home from work I decided to fit in the cardio workout I missed on Tuesday. I did the Fat Burn Challenge from Chalean Extreme. This is intense cardio intervals. I was dripping with sweat when I was done.

The burpees get be every time! I am so out of breath when I am done but love it. I was also really happy with the mountain climber to plank exercise. I had perfect form and really felt it in my abs. And I didn't let my knees drop to the ground once! Hooray!

I followed the cardio with Ab Burner - another ChaLEAN workout I missed in the AM. Oh man was it every good! I am still feeling my abs right now.

This mornng I got up and did my 4 mile run. It was my first run in my new shoes. There was a bit of burning and I have a blister on my one toe. I am thinking I tied them too tight. I am going to try again on Saturday when I do my next run and see how I do.

The run went well overall. I was disappointed with my time and wish I could run faster. I seem to be stuck at this 11-mile pace. I really want to get to 9 minutes. hopefully when I add in the intervals in the next few weeks it will help with speed.

I am very happy that I have been sticking to the trainng plan. I love putting a check mark beside each workout when I finish it. Very rewarding.
