Friday I went for a short 2 mile run after a much needed nap. Well my right calf muscle has been hurting ever since. When I woke up on Saturday morning it felt fine so I went for my run. But part way through my calf began to hurt. It just feels so tight.
I finished my 5 mile run and then kept stretching all day long. I decided to take yesterday off completely. Today I had every intention of waking up and doing weights but I washed my workout clothes yesterday and they were still wet. So I went back to bed and will workout after work today.
But my calf still feels a little tight. I think I will do just a bit of cardio - 8 minute tae bo, some weights and then one of the CE ab workouts tonight. So mostly weights today to help give my calf a rest. Tomorrow morning I want to do a 4 mile run so I am going to see how I do.
I think I will move my interval run to Wednesday and run the easy 4 mile run tomorrow morning before work. Just to see how I do with my calf.
