
Welcome to my daily fitness blog. I am currently doing round two of ChaLEAN Extreme and loving it. In addition I am also training for a 5 mile race (on Canada Day -July 1)
This week my bf and I only had one car. As a result I had to get up around 5am instead of my usual 6am to car pool. I realized after two days of doing this that my body was getting used to waking up that early. So yesterday, which was the first day that I no longer have to car pool because we each have our vehicles back, I decided to get up at 5am anyways.
I went for a 2.5 -3 mile jog and then came home and did Push Circuit 2. I cannot believe that I am lifting 20lb dumb bells for shoulder presses!! (In the push circuit you only do 6 -8 reps with heavy weights). I used to cringe with 8lb dumb bells on should exercises. And here I am pushing through to 8 reps with 20lbs. I feel so like I worked my body to the core!
Speaking of core, when I finished the Push Circuit 2 workout I moved on the Ab Burner. Wow! I love that feeling you get in your abs when you are pushing them hard!
I have an office job. So after sitting at my desk all day I needed a release. Yeah I know, after everything I did in the morning you would think I would be too tired. But no! I did the Fat Burn Challenge workout. It's intense intervals and I love it. My butt sure felt it.
This morning I let myself sleep in until 6am because I actually had trouble falling asleep. I did the Get Lean Intervals this morning and was just dripping with sweat! I have to say I love the burpees. They get my heart rate up right away!
I am looking forward to tomorrows workouts and debating on fitting in an ab workout before my cake decorating class tonight!
